Envision Eugene is our community’s process for determining the best way to accommodate up to 34,000 more people by 2031. How growth is managed will directly impact our neighborhood. Kevin Matthews, president of Southeast Neighbors and volunteer on the Envision Eugene Technical Resource Group provided an insightful editorial about the current recommendations.
The City of Eugene published a survey to capture resident viewpoints. To date, the survey only generated 75 responses. A special window of opportunity to complete the 10 minute survey has been extended to Monday, May 14th. One of the key organiational goals of our neighborhood association is to encourage policies and planning practices that preserve or enhance the livability and quality of life in Southeast Eugene. Don’t miss this chance to express your opinion.
