The Eugene School District is starting a community conversation about improving the condition and design of our school buildings. Eugene’s school buildings are aging. Most are more than 50 years old. Many older buildings aren’t well designed to support student learning and are costly to heat and maintain. It’s time to prioritize these needs and update the long-range plan for the future of our schools. The district wants to hear from parents, staff and community members about their views on how to proceed. There are two ways to weigh in:
Provide input online: An online input form will be posted at http://www.4j.lane.edu beginning the week of September 24.
Come to a community forum: Spanish interpretation will be provided.
