Plant Trees With Friends of Trees and Your Neighbors

friendsoftrees.orgPlanting Rescheduled to 12/14

Friends of Trees’ partners with City of Eugene, City of Springfield, and Lane County to offer street and yard trees to anyone with an eligible space in the planting strip in front of their home or in their yard. Residents can order a tree online. Signing up doesn’t obligate you to buy. It makes it possible for staff to inspect your planting strip for a location where a tree can be planted. After the inspection, you can log in to the web site and see a list of recommended trees.

For just $40, you’ll receive a high quality six to 12 foot tall tree, delivery, hole digging, planting assistance, mulch, stakes, and follow-up maintenance checks: a $150 value. Scholarships are available.

  • Planting in the Southeast Neighborhood will be December 14th, from 9am to 1pm. A second planting will be April 5th, 2014. Orders must be in by November 17th, 2013.
