Map Your Neighborhood Emergency Response Training: Saturday, June 27


Neighbors who work together as a team to prepare for disasters develop stronger communities and are better equipped to handle emergencies like earthquakes, wildfire, and extreme weather.

Map Your Neighborhood is a simple program designed to help neighbors prepare a disaster plan for their immediate neighborhood (typically no more than the nearest 30 households). During the hour and a half training, we’ll identify sources of information that will be helpful before, during, and after an emergency such as our neighborhood meeting place and care center and communication channels.

Preparedness takes the whole community. Turn awareness into action. Join us from 10am to 12pm at Tugman Park Saturday, June 27  to learn how you can introduce this program to those closest to you. We have reserved a shady shelter. For more info and to RSVP, follow this link:
