Come to our neighborhood festival to meet, eat, dance, play games, listen to music, talk about local issues, and build community. The event will take place at Tugman Park on Saturday, September 12 from 3pm to 7pm. The Southeast Neighbors Picnic/Festival is our largest outreach event of the year.
This year we’ve got live music, fun activities for kids, a raffle to support the association with great prizes from local businesses, a beer and cider garden, food carts, a garden share table, free ice cream, bike registration services from EPD, a bike-printing-press from Amazon Recreation Center (bring t-shirts), the Lane County Blood Mobile, earthquake preparedness information, and 22 tabling organizations working to improve community livability. Principal Tom Maloney will be facilitating a kickball challenge between neighborhood schools. Come play.
Bring chairs and/or a blanket.

Ways to Help Out
- We expect a great turn out this year and we could use some extra help with setup and breakdown. Any help is greatly appreciated! Click here for our sign-up form or just come 30 minutes early or stay 30 minutes late.
- Ride your bike, take the bus (route 28), or walk to Tugman if you can to leave close-in parking spaces open for those who need it most.
- Bring something for the Garden Share Table from ripe plums to zucchini. What isn’t taken will be donated to Food for Lane County.
