Active Shooter Awareness Lecture

Learn about the ALICE concept from a Certified ALICE instructor, Sgt. Bill Solesbee of the Eugene Police Department.

A.L.I.C.E. stands for Alert Lockdown Inform Counter Evacuate. ALICE is a strategy for responding to an active shooter in the workplace, our schools, and anywhere a group gathers.

Violence is an unfortunate reality, and can happen anywhere, at anytime, to anyone. Promoted by law enforcement as a necessary evolution in efforts to provide a safe environment, especially in our schools, ALICE is the leading training solution that increases our and our children’s odds of survival during a violent encounter.
