About the Tiny Houses Project: The Church of the Resurrection is building a micro-village of tiny houses for adults experiencing homelessness. Village residents will find rest, acceptance, and help to access the resources they need to move forward and make a better life.
The village will be built and operated on a model that other churches and organizations can follow so that together we will make a significant difference in homelessness in our city. Funds are needed for site preparation and for building three tiny houses. Ongoing expenses will include village maintenance, bus passes, and gym memberships so residents can exercise and have access to showers.
About Evensong: Evensong is a worship service of evening prayers, psalms, and canticles. Based on the services held daily in the medieval Church, Choral Evensong, from the Book of Common Prayer of the Church of England, has been sung regularly since the sixteenth century.
