Upcoming Paving Projects on Popular Bicycling Routes
The City of Eugene’s Public Works Maintenance Division will be paving a couple of unimproved streets this summer that are popular recreational bicycling routes. Both projects are part of the City of Eugene’s Enhanced Street Repair Program that is funded with State of Oregon Highway Fund revenue, much of which comes from gas taxes.
In the next couple of weeks, the city will pave Fox Hollow Road from Donald Street to Cline Road. Later this summer, the city will pave Dillard Road from 43rd Avenue to several hundred feet short of the city limits. On both projects, shoulders will be widened where there are opportunities to do so.
