The Eugene Masonic Cemetery (home of the graves of Eugene Skinner, Maude Kerns and other prominent local citizens) welcomes the public to its annual Memorial Day Weekend events on May 28, 29 and 30.
Gates and Hope Abbey will be open from 10 to 4pm with taps played daily at noon in the Public Square. Located at 25th Ave and University in Eugene.
On Saturday, May 28th a guided tour of the cemetery will start at 1pm at Hope Abbey.
On Sunday, May 29th, The Kay Holbo Camas Field will be dedicated in honor of the Eugene Masonic Cemetery Association’s (EMCA) founder at 2pm, followed by a champagne party to celebrate the EMCA’s 21st birthday.
Music to Die For is a free, all-acoustic summer concert series in Hope Abbey. The hour-long concerts are held at 2 PM on the last Sunday of each month, from June through October. Music to Die For will return for its 5th season on June 25, 2016.
