Southeast Neighbors General Meeting February 2, 2017 featuring Councilor Betty Taylor


Southeast Neighbors is hosting the Winter Neighborhood Meeting on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Hilyard Community Center located at 2580 Hilyard Street. A social half-hour is planned from 6:30 until 7:00 pm. Neighbors and community organizations are invited to bring literature to share. Free child care will be available on site.

7:00pm: Call to Order – Welcome, Introductions

7:05pm: Public Forum
All meetings begin with a public comment session for citizens to express opinions, raise issues, and provide information to the association.

7:15pm: Councilor Betty Taylor Presentation
Current City of Eugene initiatives and/or issues as related to southeast Eugene.

7:45 pm: Community Land Use Q & A
Alissa Hansen, Principal Planner from the City of Eugene and Eben Fodor, a community planning and land use consultant, will join us to answer questions about current land use applications and matters including Amazon Corners, Rest Haven, Wendell Canyon, Chamotee Trails, SW-SAZ, tiny homes, and the Urban Growth Boundary Adoption.
