Southeast Neighbors Board Asks for Improved Land Use Communication

On January 23rd, Duncan Rhodes, Secretary of SEN, requested that City Council pass an ordinance requiring all Eugene construction sites to have signage listing Project Manager/Owner information, a description of what is being built, and links to information on the project such as permit information, etc. This was pursuant to a SEN Board resolution authorizing this request.

He noted “I am tired of passing construction sites for 6 months to a year, wondering what was being built. The contractors certainly don’t have any problem advertising who is building the project on multiple six to eight foot signs. Why can’t the owners do so as well?”
