There is a proposal to build a bunch of houses at the Ribbon Trail Trailhead, on the north side of 30th Ave., where the off-ramp intersects with a small stub of Spring Blvd. An area many of us use for nature access.
Branch Engineering is hosting a meeting with neighbors this coming Wednesday (April 26), 6pm at Camas Ridge School on 29th St. at Potter, to discuss their plan to build 15 houses. Have concerns? I hope you’ll come.
There are two lots involved: tax lot 400 where 15 houses are proposed (4.82 acres), and tax lot 500 where 2 houses are proposed (1.65 acres). The latter lot has already gone through annexation and zone change, a partition application is now pending review. The boundary line between Fairmount & Laurel Hill Valley neighborhoods runs directly between the two parcels under consideration.
The owner is Don Furtick. Branch Engineering is the company moving his proposals through city process. Contact Renee Clough for details 541-746-0637 ot Reneec@branchengineering.com.
